This is Polly Prose's first attempt on writing a Romantic Comedy that focuses on how social pressures can often push you in a direction you might not always be ready for. And this can often make you feel that you are struggling on your own.
"The Plus One Plot" follows Piper Cora Cox, a self-made small business owner in Boston. She is standing at crossroads in her life when she meets her ex, Wylder Zane Woods, by a complete happenstance. Little does she know that Wylder has likewise been caught up
in a cycle of monotony, feeling stagnant and uninspired.
Will they be able to bury the hatchet and help each other after all these years? Or has that ship already sunk?
