Coming from an island way up North, I'm always up for an adventure. When I'm not exploring new stories, I love to read, travel, and indulge in delicious food and/or wine. But let's be honest here, coffee is my one true love.
It's not unusual to find me out and about, practicing my "hygge" skills, and sitting at one of the delightful cafés that decorate beautiful Copenhagen.
So, if you're ever in "the area," I hope you'll enjoy the enchanting city with a captivating book and a smooth cup of coffee in hand!
My story in a few words...
Who would have thought that I'd end up here? Me, Polly Prose.
I am an aspiring writer and poet from Iceland, now residing in Copenhagen, Denmark. I've been scribbling away since I was old enough to read, starting with diaries and moving on to poetry and fiction in my teenage years.

I used to visit the library every single week and one of my dreams was to become a librarian, because then I'd be surrounded by books every single day. I mean...Can anything be better than that? Books. Books. Books.
​
Being so captivated by the written word and how it can affect your mood and feelings, laugh out loud or cry me a river, I always dreamt to be able to write in such away. To touch people's hearts. Or hoping to.
​
And guess what? I finally made it. I finally reached my goal to become a published writer! My debut collection of poetry is waiting to go LIVE. And there are at least two more books in the same collection on the drawing board.
Writing is and has always been my oxygen and I love nothing more than getting lost in a good story, whether it's one that I'm reading, or writing.
The times I've struggled the most was when I forgot to breathe, forgot to get my daily intake of oxygen.
What was my greatest hindrance? Me, myself and I. The fear of sharing or the fear of failure held me back.

Then...
I decided to just go for it, because...Why Not?!
